(Palm Beach, Florida) Today, Republican Congressional Candidate Laura Loomer called upon Congresswoman Lois Frankel to take immediate action to secure the lives and property of the citizens of the 21st Congressional District in light of new threats from Islamic terrorists within the Iranian regime.
The Palm Beach Post and other media outlets around the world have reported the threat posed on Twitter by Iranian politician Hesameddin Ashena. Ashena is an advisor to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
Within the threatening tweet by Ashena was a link to President Trump’s properties, including Mar-a-Lago, the historic landmark and hub of the Palm Beach community that serves as the Winter White House.
Loomer stated, “Lois Frankel has a duty to the people of the 21st Congressional District, which includes her constituents President and Mrs. Trump, to propose and pass emergency legislation that provides additional and immediate funding to state, local and federal law enforcement agencies that serve hand-in-hand in their efforts to combat international terrorism.”
Loomer continued, “What is Frankel proposing to increase security at the international and private airports within the 21st Congressional District, to prevent jihadist foreign nationals from entering the country?”
General Consultant to Laura Loomer for Congress, Karen Giorno stated, “Unlike the funding offered by Frankel to local law enforcement and local businesses for financial losses incurred due to Presidential security, the funding and solutions must be immediate and not attached to a bureaucratic and political quagmire that takes months to secure. Palm Beach residents face a real threat by Iran, the top funder of Islamic terrorism in the world. We demand Frankel take immediate action to protect lives and property.”
Mar-a-Lago has played a vital role in international diplomacy in addition to being a community and business hub within Palm Beach.
In light of an Islamic foreign national recently opening fire on a Navy base in Florida, killing three Americans, this threat must be taken seriously by Congresswoman Frankel.
